Join us on Sunday October 7th at the Tacoma Film Festival as The Last City in the East screens in the City of Destiny. We're opening for the mini-feature "Jake Shimabukuro: Life on Four Strings".
Showtime is a brisk 10:45 AM, at the Tacoma Art Museum, so afterward, you can check out the museum and go out for Sunday lunch afterward and discuss.
I'm delighted to say I'll be screening The Last City in the East for the poetry students of Shoreline Community College in a couple of weeks! What we'll talk about, only time will tell.
But, comparing it to a summer's day, it might even be lovlier, or more temperate.
As The Last City in the East continues on the festival circuit, I should probably mention that the film's star Paul D. Dickinson performs regularly. One of his reoccurring gigs is the monthly, no-holds barred Riot Act Reading Series, recently voted Best in the Twin Cities and usually held at the Turf Club in St. Paul.
